Tittle : Things Went Wrong Wfter Killing My Husband to Prove My Dao

Author : 小狐狸菌

Summary :

At birth, Rong Zhao’s fate was foretold. It was said he was born under a calamity star, destined to bring misfortune upon himself and others, condemned to live a life of utter solitude.

Sure enough, he was bullied and abandoned, suffering endless torment. Later, by chance, he embarked upon the path of ruthlessness, killing all those who had wronged him.

To sever his ties to the mortal world, Rong Zhao entered into a bind with a mortal man. He feigned deep affection, offering him the best things in the world, thus winning his heart.

Then came the day he would kill his husband to attain the Dao.

Lightning ripped through the night sky, the gleaming blade reflecting his Daoist partner's beautiful eyes, so beautiful they seemed not to belong to a mortal.

"You betray me today, but tomorrow … you will suffer a hundredfold more…"

Rong Zhao sneered, "Just try it."

He didn't even bother to collect the mortal's remains.

Rong Zhao had just ascended to the Immortal Capital and hadn't even settled in when he was kidnapped by Immortal Ming Chen. His immortal essence destroyed, and suppressed by forty-nine heavenly lightning bolts, condemned to eternal ruin with no hope of ever rising again.

He clung tightly to Ming Chen's robes, hissing, "I have no grudge against you, Immortal! Why torment me like this?!"

"No grudge?" Ming Chen glanced at him. "Looks like your memory isn't very good."

　　Rong Zhao: "?"

The next instant, he was taken away and thrown into the hot spring within the bedchamber, choking until his eyes turned red.

　　The door lock clicked shut.

　　...

Ming Chen pinched his chin and asked, "Do you remember now?"

　　He did remember.

His Daoist partner, who had died tragically under the sword, his nominal husband, was actually an immortal who had descended to the mortal realm to experience a love tribulation.

　　Damn it.
